          Focal Point Dance Studio Policies

I.               Every dancer must have a parent/guardian sign a REGISTRATION AGREEMENT FORM prior to his/her first day of class.

II.             All monthly tuition payments are due on the 1^st of each month. Any payments made after the 10^th must include a $15 late fee. If the account is thirty days past due, your credit card on file will be automatically charged for the current and past due charges, as well as late fees.

                              There will a $35 fee for all NSF checks.

III.      There will be no refunds, extended payments, discounts or credits for missed classes. Make-up classes are encouraged. Tuition fees are pro-rated based on lessons received during the full studio year:  September thru June (1/2 of June tuition is due with May tuition).  You are required to give written notice when your dancer withdraws or has extended absence from the Studio.

IV.        Please notify the front desk if your dancer drops or adds a class to ensure your monthly tuition is correct.

 

V.             The End of the Year Show is optional, but highly recommended.  Costume deposit ($50 per costume) is collected in January with the balance due in April.  There will be no refunds of costume deposit after costume has been ordered  (February).

 

VI.           All tuition and costume balances must be paid in full for costumes to be released.

 

VII.         No GUM, food, drinks or cell phones are allowed in the dance studio.

VIII.       No jewelry is to be worn during class. This is for the dancers' safety. The instructor will ask for jewelry to be removed and IS NOT responsible for loss.

IX.           All students are required to wear the appropriate dance attire and shoes and MUST have hair tied back.

X.             Parents – Please remain outside of the studios while your child is in class.

XI.           FP follows the Miami Dade County Public School Systems calendar for opening and closing of the studio. Please call the studio or check our webpage for updated messages.

XII.         Parents are responsible for their child's behavior and their safety while on our premises before and after class. We encourage you to arrive 5 minutes before your child's class. To ensure your child's safety, please come inside to pick up your child.
